The company was also responsible for engineering, procurement, and construction of the new 34.5kV collection system and upgrade of the 115kV interconnection substation, as well as the construction of access roads, foundations, and turbine erection, said RMT.

The facility was decommissioned during the turbine replacement. It was restarted for commercial operations in September 2008, and now generates enough electricity to power approximately 6,000 homes.
