Scheduled to be drilled to a targeted depth of 2,700ft in the Chauk South fault block, CHK 1188 will be an offset to producing well CHK 1157 which was originally completed as an oil producer in 2006.

In addition to holding 60% interest in the Improved Petroleum Recovery Contract of the Chauk field, Interra owns 60% of Goldpetrol which is the operator of the field.

Following new casing perforations, three untested reservoirs in CHK 1157 were brought on production in March 2013, and are the primary objective reservoirs of CHK 1188.

Current drilling results and completion are expected in approximately six weeks, Interra estimates.
