The company agreed to supply its PC14 280w modules for installation at eight solar farms across South England.

Designed specifically for deployment in large-scale ground mounted arrays the modules also enable cost efficiency.

The delivery is expected to be staggered with a minimum 30MW to be deployed by April 2013 and a maximum 55MW at a later date.

Anesco CEO Adrian Pike explained that Trina Solar’s wide array panels had demonstrated promising performance.

"Trina Solar is also committed to our delivery programme, and has good UK coverage and a strong balance sheet," Pike said.

The two companies had earlier collaborated on the 5MW Cadland Estate solar farm in Fawley, Hampshire that featured 18,000 Trina Solar panels.

Trina Solar UK sales manager Richard Rushin concluded, We anticipate 2013 being the year of the solar farm, and the substantial pipeline of projects on which we will be working closely with Anesco is testament to the growth of this market."
