Front-end engineering and design (FEED) documents have been compiled for the offshore facilities, in line with the international standards and will be submitted for the state expert review in 2013.

Located in the Russian sector of Barents Sea, the Shtokman field has C1 reserves of 3.9 tcm (138 tcf) of gas and 56.1 MM tons of gas condensate.

Gazprom’s wholly-owned subsidiary Gazprom Neft Shelf holds the gas and gas condensate exploration and production license.

The company also said that tender documents, as part of the onshore facilities design development, have been prepared to begin a bidding procedure in 2013.

The LNG plant, which would be developed in the Orlovka River valley near the Teriberka settlement, will have an annual capacity of 30 million tons of LNG.
