Subject to final regulatory approval of the monitoring strategy, the project is on schedule to begin production in April 2014, Quasar Resources said.
The Four Mile Uranium Project area is located 550km north of Adelaide in South Australia.
Quasar is the registered holder of 75% and acts as the manager of the project while Alliance’s 100% owned subsidiary, ACE is the registered holder of 25% of ML6402 and EL5017.
Late year, Alliance Resources received final regulatory approval under the Commonwealth Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act (EPBC Act) conditions for the Four Mile Uranium Mine Monitoring, Mine Closure and Community Engagement Plans which were submitted on 27 June 2013.
