With the commencement of operations at its facilities, the company is expecting to improve services for gas producers in the Eagle Ford Shale play and nearby areas.

TEAK’s 200 million cubic feet per day (MMcf/d) Silver Oak cryogenic gas processing plant located in the Bee County, is furnished with modern equipments and technology to process liquids-rich gas from Eagle Ford play, and other formations to maximize natural gas liquids (NGL) recovery.

The company’s 402.3km gas gathering system has also begun operations and will transport rich gas to the processing plant and includes two inlet gas gathering system.

The first system co-owned with TexStar Midstream, is a 286.4km long pipeline that gathers gas from the Eagle Ford play and transports it to the Silver Oak gas processing plant. The system has a capacity to transport about 600 MMcf/d of gas.

The second system is a 35.4km long pipeline that can transmit 400 MMcf/d of gas from the Karnes County to the processing plant.

TEAK co-chief executive A Chris Aulds said, "The proximity of our extensive gas gathering systems to escalating drilling activity is ideal, and our processing plant has extremely high NGL recoveries, making it one of the most efficient facilities in the region, which can improve wellhead value for our customers."

The gathering system also includes a 91.7km long residue gas pipeline to deliver dry gas from the plant to six downstream intrastate and interstate pipelines, whereas a 4.8km that supplies recovered liquids from the plant to the DCP Sand Hills NGL pipeline.
