The project is part of Reliance’s multi-billion-dollar expansion project at Jamnagar refining and petrochemical complex, west coast India.

Under the contract, Foster Wheeler will undertake detailed engineering, licensor coordination and procurement services at the new paraxylene plant.

The project will be executed from Foster Wheeler’s Indian and UK operations, the company said.
