Under the terms of the contract, Nordex will also provide services to Eneco’s Moy wind farm for a period of 15 years.
The wind farm, which will have 20 N100/3300 turbines, is expected to be completed in late summer 2016.
According to Nordex, the N100/3300 turbines have been designed for IEC1a conditions and can make optimum use of the strong winds prevailing at the Moy wind farm site.
Nordex Management Board member Lars Bondo Krogsgaard said the company’s wind turbines have performed well on IECa sites in UK in the past.
"With this project, we have the chance of continuing on this path successfully and of demonstrating the strengths of the N100/3300," Krogsgaard added.
