Fred. Olsen Windcarrier’s jack-up vessel ‘Bold Tern’ is being used to install five 6MW Alstom wind turbines at the project.
To be performed during the third quarter of 2016, the duration of the employment is a period of 65 days with an extension for up to 48 days.
Owned and operated by Deepwater Wind, the project, which is claimed to be one of the first offshore wind farms in the US, will generate over 125,000MWh annually, enough to power around 17,000 homes.
