Vestas will maintain a total of 533MW capacity that includes 335MW for existing power plants in New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island while the remaining 198MW includes two projects expected to be operational in 2013.
The contract scope includes a full range of services to maximise the energy production under the active output management option besides a surveillance system that allows remote monitoring and control of the turbines.
