Potential investors to develop the power station include those from Russia, Turkey, Czech Republic and China.

Investors from India and Poland have also received copies of the proposal.

Deputy energy minister Mikhail Mikhadyuk remarked that they are also in discussions with all the potential investors to construct a 20MW hydroelectric power plant on the Neman.

Once the investors are finalized, the country is expected to draw up necessary terms and conditions for the project implementation.
