Canyon Pipeline, a natural gas production company, gathers and processes natural gas in the Piceance and Uinta basins in Colorado and Utah.
Under the agreement, Summit will acquire the gas gathering and processing system which include over 1,600 miles of pipe, 44,000 horsepower of compression, processing assets with a total capacity of 97 million cubic feet per day, and two natural gas liquids injection stations.
Summit is expecting to close the deal in the final quarter of 2012 which is subject to certain regulatory approvals.
