HRT’s subsidiary HRT O&G and its partner TNK-Brasil have concluded the drilling and evaluation of the Well 4-HRT-7D-AM in Block SOL-T-194.
Drilling of the well tested a southwest extension of the gas and condensate accumulation identified by well 1-HRT-4-AM.
The new prospect was found based on seismic data, in a higher structural position concerning the the discovery and tested through a directional well at an angle of around 45 degrees.
The company said the well crossed the producing reservoir in well 1-HRT-4-AM at 1,250m and 11 meters higher, although with a smaller thickness of two meters, without any production capacity and revealing less natural gas as expected.
The well confirmed that its accumulation does not have continuity to this southwest mapped extension.
HRT said the results of the two wells will help it evaluate the extension of the accumulation of gas and condensate in 12 km².
