The new CBDC facility, with an annual production capacity of 40,000 tons of carbon black, will be located in the refining complex in Ruwais, west of Abu Dhabi, and process 30,000 barrels of crude oil a day.
Under the deal inked with Abu Dhabi Oil Refining Company unit, Takreer, Samsung Engineering will also offer project management services for the engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning processes on a lump-sum turnkey basis for the unit slated to be operational by December 2015.
