Argan chairman and chief executive officer Rainer Bosselmann said, "We look forward to working with ETEC toward the successful, on-time completion of this important project."
GPS said that it secured a previously announced contract on October 17, 2011 to design and build the biomass-fired power plant near Woodville.
The company said that the biomass-fired power project is estimated to be completed in December 2014.
Argan designs and builds energy plants through its Gemma Power Systems subsidiary.
