SGS has started performing quality assurance and quality control services which will continue through the three-year agreement to reduce the construction risk.
The AKAZ power plant will have a capacity of 2x125MW, and construction is expected to be complete in three years.
SGS will also inspect equipments and materials at different Lanco’s vendor locations in Europe, the US, Asia and the Middle East.
LANCO Group offers engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services, while SGS is an inspection, verification, testing and certification company.
