The orders worth $387m were secured between 11 February to 15 April 2012 for various projects in Germany, France, Italy, Poland and UK.

REpower Systems said the contracts does not include orders secured separately.

Suzlon Group chairman Tulsi Tanti said, "These orders clearly underscore the continuing momentum in the wind sector in developed European markets."

Repower will use its wind turbine 3.4M104 with 3.4MW of power generating capacity and 3.2M114 with 3.2 MW capacity for several projects in Germany.

The company will use MM92 and MM82 wind turbines for other orders.
