The company will supply products including circuit breakers, disconnectors, instrument transformers, current transformers and capacitive voltage transformers for 765/400kV substations in Jabalpur and Nellore in the Indian states of Madhya Pradesh and Andhra Pradeshrespectively.
Alstom T&D India managing director Rathin Basu said Alstom T&D India is a market leader in India in extra and ultra high voltage (EHV) transmission products.
"This order further strengthens our leadership position in the development of EHV switchgear products, a technology field that is transforming the power transfer capacity of the country," Basu added.
