The Behlman SSCI-890 Power Supply has three plug-in Line Replaceable Units (LRU).
The two outside LRU’s are identical N+1 redundant, hot-swappable power modules, each capable of supplying full system power.
The system will continue in full operation even while a power unit is being changed for which the center LRU is the system controller, reports chron.com.
Behlman vice president of sales and marketing Ronald Storm said the company is pleased to be able to support this customer’s expansion by filling their repeat orders in a timely manner.
"With so many of our SSCI-890 Power Supplies in operation around the world over the past five years, the fact that we have never had even one returned for repair is evidence of their extreme reliability," said Storm.
