The Lucius field is located about 275 miles southeast of Galveston in Keathley Canyon Block 875, in water depths of about 7,100ft.
Under the contract, FMC Technologies will deliver five subsea production trees and two manifolds for the project.
Deliveries are expected to begin in the fourth quarter of this year and the company will supply the equipment from its operation in Houston.
