ECGS is being developed by Merchant Energy in Colorado’s Logan County and is certificated for about 18.9bcf of working gas capacity.
The project started base gas injections in early November and is expected to have withdrawal facilities in place during the first quarter of next year.
ECGS is interconnected with the Trailblazer pipeline of Kinder Morgan in Logan County and is authorized to connect with the Rockies Express pipeline at the same location.
