The company will be responsible for the design, engineering, manufacture, supply and supervision of erection and commissioning of the STG package, including the controls and instrumentation systems.
The contract is valued at nearly INR400m ($7.8m) and BHEL will execute the project within 18 months.
The company said that the power generating equipment will meet the captive power requirements of ArcelorMittal’s steel plant at Kryviy Rih in Ukraine.
