The company seeks proposals for coal delivery for quantities up to 600,000 tons, with delivery beginning in January 2012 through March 2012.
DP&L said that proposals with alternative quantities will be considered and the company is interested in offers for all types of coal.
DP&L is a regulated electric utility and provides service to over 500,000 retail customers in west central Ohio.
