CET and Alstom will cooperate on development and manufacture of 1,100kV and 800kV converter transformer technology.
Alstom Grid president Gregoire Poux-Guillaume said the co-development of converter transformers is of strategic importance for both Alstom Grid and CET.
"From co-development to co-production, this agreement will take Alstom’s cooperation with SGCC to new horizons," Poux-Guillaume said.
