Under the contract, Suzlon will provide 10 units of its S88-2.1MW wind turbine generators, aggregating to 21MW of wind power capacity.

The wind power project will be developed in two phases and be completed by May 2012.

Suzlon has previously supplied a 10MW wind project to the Senok Group.

The new 21MW project will come up alongside the existing project site in the Puttalm district of Sri
Lanka.

Sri Lanka-based Senok Group owns the interests across construction machinery, automotives, infrastructure development, tea, haulage and mining.
