The construction on Keyuan Petrochemicals new 70,000 ton SBS production facility started in September 2010.
Keyuan Petrochemicals has completed the construction and equipment installation on the facility located in Ningbo.
The company will conduct trial production runs in October and November this year before commercial production begins.
Keyuan Petrochemicals chairman and CEO Chunfeng Tao said the SBS production facility is progressing on schedule, and the company is expected to achieve about 80% utilization rate for this new facility in next year.
Keyuan Petrochemicals is a merchant manufacturer of various petrochemical products in China.
