The company has sold its 75% interest in PT Gorontalo Sejahtera Mining, including the Pani prospect, and its 60% interest in PT Arafura Surya Alam in Indonesia.
Avocet said that the sale forms part of the overall disposal of its south east Asian assets for a total consideration of $200m, as announced in December 2010.
The company has now received $197m in cash of the $200m total consideration, and sale completion in respect of its remaining two south east Asian exploration assets for $3m is still subject to various government approvals.
