The three solar power plants include 7MW site in Tortona, 5MW and 1.2MW sites in Alessandria.
Intesa Sanpaolo provided financing for the three connected and fully operated solar plants.
Intesa Sanpaolo will own the 13.2MW of solar power plants for the next 18 years, during which time ForVEI will pay a monthly lease to operate the solar farms.
The three PV plants have been constructed with Trina and CSI modules, SMA inverters and a MECASOLAR axis trackers.
OPDE Group Jose Antonio Mieres said the transaction enhances the company’s presence in the Italian market, where its Group has a number of projects in progress and where it will soon start construction on new solar farms.
