The farm is located approximately 70 kilometers west of Sylt, Germany; an island in the North Sea.
Under the terms of the contract, EPD will supply 111 kilometers (364,173 feet) of infield cables, accessories and offshore services.
Work will begin next year on the cables, which will be manufactured at EPD’s Tønsberg manufacturing plant in Norway.
Delivery of the contract is expected in 2013.
The DanTysk wind farm is a joint venture between Vattenfall Europe Windkraft and StadtwerkeMünchen.
Vattenfall is responsible for the construction and operation of the wind farm,which will be equipped with 80 turbines.
The farm can generate electricity for up to 300,000 households.
