The 20MW wind power project was powered by 10 Suzlon S88-2.1MW wind turbines.

The wind facility, which started producing electricity in March 2010, will serve about 7,000 homes at full capacity.

Olympus Power initially entered into the wind farm’s purchase from Suzlon and Juhl Wind in March this year.

Olympus Power’s financing agreement, arranged with Prudential Capital Group, includes a purchase of $20m in senior secured notes for a term of 18.8 years and fixed interest.

Suzlon Wind Energy is the North American subsidiary of wind turbine maker Suzlon Energy, India.

Olympus Power is focused on acquiring, owning and operating electric generation facilities.
