Bob Shapard, chairman and CEO of Oncor, said: “Charles brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to this post. He has led Oncor’s transmission group for more than three years and, most recently, has been in charge of the company’s billion-dollar investment in the competitive Renewable Energy Zone construction – the largest project of its kind in the US. At the same time, Rob will remain to help lead several key strategic initiatives.”

The most recent job responsibilities of Mr Jenkins included directing transmission engineering, construction and field operations for Oncor’s 14,000 miles of transmission facilities as well as the development and support of real-time operations information technology systems for both transmission and distribution system operations.

In his new role, Mr Jenkins will be responsible for all of the company’s transmission and distribution operations.
