According to a bill “Concerning the placement of designed and built centralized storage facility of spent nuclear fuel by the VVER reactor, a domestically produced nuclear power plant”, which the Parliamentary Committee on Construction, City Planning, Housing and Public Utilities, and Regional Policy Committee supported.
The acceptance of the draft law will strengthen the nation’s energy security, save money and attract additional funds for social-purpose building projects owing to discounts from implementing the storage facility construction project and the creation of jobs.
