The project involved development of a 32MW gas-turbine electric power plant, an oil treatment unit, a pump station of the pressure-maintenance system, a condensate de-ethanization and stabilization unit, a transfer-and-acceptance station, a gas treatment unit, among others.
Since the start of construction work on the project in 2014, a total of 107 wells have been drilled including 72 oil wells and 31 gas wells.
Of these wells, 36 oil wells are currently in production with an overall daily flow rate exceeding 3,000 tons.
The produced crude oil is being transported through the Zapolyarye-Purpe pipeline.
The Russian oil producer plans to commence gas production at the field later in 2016.
In 2017, the field is expected to produce 1.5 million tons of crude oil and gas condensate and 3 billion cubic meters of natural gas.
Said to be one of the largest fields in the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous District in terms of reserve base, the Pyakyakhinskoye field comprise facilities which can withstand the extreme operating conditions at sub-zero ambient temperatures of up to -56 ° centigrade, Lukoil said.
According to estimates, the field has recoverable reserves of C1+C2 category under the Russian reserve classification of 86 million tons of liquids and 253 billion cubic meters of gas.
