Richard Clement, Powertech Uranium’s president and chief executive officer, said “We are indeed pleased that the NRC has accepted our license application as complete and that the technical and environmental review is underway. We now have two of the federal applications accepted as complete and will soon be submitting the third, to the Bureau of Land Management. The EPA accepted our Underground Injection Control permit application earlier this year. Also, we continue to work closely with the State of South Dakota regarding its comments on the UIC permit application submitted in May of this year.”
