The contract options comprise of 7000-tonne sub-structure for the riser platform and a 3300-tonne jacket for the accommodation platform, industry sources told Upstream.
The wellhead package is expected to take the form of a procurement and construction contract in which WorleyParsons Limited is expected to take the responsibility for engineering while ConocoPhillips itself will offer some key materials.
The rest of the jackets, whether or not they are awarded to a separate bidder, are expected to be delivered under a traditional engineering, procurement and construction contract.
The wellhead jacket is scheduled for installation in 2011 in order for pre-drilling to be conducted on the high-pressure, high-temperature field. Jackets for the riser and accommodation platforms are scheduled for installation in 2012.
Decks for the platform trio will announced under a separate bidding process.
Jasmine’s riser platform will be bridge-connected to the operator’s existing Judy platform while the rest of the two platforms will lie about nine kilometers away and connected through a bridge to each other.
Production is now expected to start in 2013, with peak production coming in at between 85,000 and 100,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day.
