“We have received the papers from Department of Atomic Energy (DAE) for environment clearance of Jaitapur site and we are looking into it,” Ramesh said.
The details of the Environment Impact Assessment of the site and other technical details, were submitted by NPCIL to the DAE which forwarded them to the Ministry.
The company is in the process of acquiring land from Maharashtra Government for this project which will consist of four plants.
