Portrush Petroleum has agreed with the operator to review all existing technical data before it takes on any further development.
The operator has recommended acquiring several square miles of 3-D seismic to integrate into the existing seismic data and also to define the deeper stratigraphic potential.
The initial well is proposed to be drilled to a depth of 11,600 feet and subject to a successful test, a total of five wells will be required to complete development of the field.
