Singapore is the hub for our expansion plans in Asia both with the development of our commercial activities in the region and our wafer, cell and module manufacturing site coming on line in 2010.

REC is building solar energy manufacturing site in Singapore with an investment of about NOK13 Billion (SGD3billion) and 1,300 jobs in phase 1. The target is to begin operations in the first quarter of 2010 and reach full capacity of 740 MW of wafers, 550 MW of cells and 590 MW of modules by 2012.
