Limited production in Aden Refinery and consumption increasing has made shortages in the domestic gas during the last two years, al-Aydarus said.
At present, the country’s ministry is preparing a technical and economic study for building strategic tanks for LPG.
The ministry has worked on marketing plan extension for LPG to include all governorates and rural regions in the country, al-Aydarus added.
The gas plants in Safer and Aden refinery has withdrawn LPG of 757,558 metric tons at a total cost of YER21,886 billion compared with 20,791 metric tons and a total cost of YER6,933 billion in 2007.
