According to Touqan, the agreement will also address other issues like nuclear safety, nuclear guarantees, protection of environment and training of cadres.

Previosuly, Jordan has also signed nuclear cooperation agreements with France, China, Russia, Canada and South Korea.

Touqan said that the cooperation agreement will be signed in London by Nasser Judeh, Jordanian Foreign Minister and his British counterpart David Miliband on the fringes of an upcoming visit to Britain by King Abdullah II.
