Cairn India is operationalizing three additional subsea pipelines in the field. The pipelines are likely to solve capacity bottlenecks and aid ouput in the Andhra block. The company is planning to set up a gas lift support in the discovered reservoirs of Ravva with an analysis to add incremental reserves. It will expand these reservoirs through drilling campaigns considered over the whole year.

About 41,200 barrels of oil per day (bopd) are being pumped, from twelve wells in the east coast field, down from 55,000 bopd previous year from the field now. The company has concluded a four-well infill programme in the block in June 2008.

Scorpion Offshore Ltd.’s Tourneau-116 class acted as the operator to perform the part of the drilling campaign around the deeper prospects and high pressure zones at Ravva.
