The two sides gave a positive assessment of bilateral co-operation for development in the energy field and confirmed their willingness to strengthen the mutually beneficial long-term partnership.
The memorandum of understanding was signed by Alexey Miller, chairman of Gazprom’s management committee and Seyyed Kasaeizadeh, deputy minister of petroleum and managing director of the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC).
