Mr Mayer is president of Magic Investment Projects, a private equity firm targeting co-investments in Morocco with US firms focusing on the recently signed free trade agreement with the US.
Mr Mayer served as first vice president, investments for Citigroup Global Markets focused on energy, real estate and private equity and hedge funds.
Prior to that he served as vice president for Merrill Lynch Investment Managers and Merrill Lynch raising several billion dollars with mid-sized institutions, family offices and pension funds. He directed private client alternative investments, capital raising and deal structuring for the alternative investment group.
