Net income from Puget Energy’s regulated electric and gas utility subsidiary, Puget Sound Energy (PSE), was $39.1 million, or $0.30 per share, in the second quarter of 2008, compared to $38.4 million, or $0.33 per share, in the same period of 2007.
Puget Energy’s second quarter total operating revenues were $712.40 million, compared to $661.14 million for the same quarter of 2007. PSE’s second quarter total energy sales revenues were $711.88 million, compared to $660.43 million for the same quarter of 2007.
For the first six months ended June 30, 2008, Puget Energy’s net income was $113.5 million, or $0.87 per diluted share, compared to $117.7 million, or $1 per diluted share, for the same period in 2007.
Total operating revenues of Puget Energy were $1.76 billion for the six months ended June 30, 2008, compared to $1.66 billion for the same period of 2007. Total energy sales revenues of PSE were $1.76 billion for the six months ended June 30, 2008, compared to $1.65 billion for the second period of 2007.
