Technip’s operating center in Rome, Italy, will execute the contract. The engineering, procurement and supply of equipment and materials activities, worth approximately E130 million, will be charged on a lump sum basis, Technip said.
Construction management assistance services will be delivered by Technip as part of an integrated team with the client, on a reimbursable basis.
The contract covers four new units: a gas recovery unit, butane treating unit, sulphur recovery facilities, and a carbon dioxide capture unit. The contract is scheduled to be completed in the third quarter of 2011.
This is the fourth contract awarded to Technip by Canadian Natural Resources for the same project.
