The order also includes one C200 system to be installed in Ukraine, and two C65 microturbines to be installed in Belarus. The total order value exceeds $2 million.
The C1000 platform reportedly applies the same technology found in Capstone’s 30kW and 65kW products. The new 1MW power system, based on Capstone’s C200 microturbine product line can be configured in a single 30-foot long ISO container.
Jim Crouse, Capstone’s executive vice president of sales and marketing, said: The amount of interest and the number of inquiries we have been receiving since we announced the C200 and C1000 products is most encouraging. It was not surprising that our first C1000 order should come from one of our marquee distributors.
