Orbital noted that Mr Stinson brings over 30 years experience in manufacturing, engine development and fuel systems design and commercialization.
For the past seven years, Mr Stinson has been a senior executive with Siemens VDO, the German engineering conglomerate, with direct responsibility for sales in excess of $300 million per annum in their fuel systems operations across the world.
He has also served as a representative director for Siemens VDO on the Synerject joint venture board. Mr Stinson has also held the position of vice president for manufacturing at Outboard Marine, a privately-held marine propulsion and boat company.
