The news source reported that the Peruvian president Alan Garcia and his counterpart Brazilian Luis da Silva have signed a string of agreements, which include the possibility of the Brazilian firms to build new petrochemical plants in Peru that tap into the country’s burgeoning gas sector.
The Peruvian state-owned petroleum firm, Petroperu, could also participate in the construction of the petrochemical plants by the Brazilian companies, according to the news source.
