For the full year of 2007, earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) almost doubled to $14.08 billion, compared to $7.27 billion for 2006.
Net income for the fourth quarter of 2007 grew five-fold to $2.97 billion compared to $603 million in the fourth quarter of 2006. For 2007, net income increased more than three times to $12.86 billion.
In the fourth quarter of 2007, Rosneft’s petroleum products output increased by 104.7% to 12.07 million tonnes, from 5.90 million tonnes for the same period in 2006. In 2007, the total output of petroleum products from Rosneft’s crude, including output at mini-refineries and refineries controlled by third parties, increased by 69.4% to 38.4 million tonnes from 22.7 million tonnes in 2006.
Rosneft’s consolidated subsidiaries, including the company’s share in affiliates, produced 4.06 billion cubic meters (bcm) of natural and associated gas in the fourth quarter of 2007, an increase of 17.2% compared to the same period of 2006. In 2007, Rosneft’s production of natural and associated gas increased by 15.5% to 15.7 billion cubic meters from 13.6bcm in the respective prior-year period.
