"We are looking forward to beginning these substantial updates now that the unofficial end of summer is here," stated Operations Supervisor Tim Green. "We are coordinating these projects closely with the city to ensure efficiencies and to make sure the main replacements are completed ahead of the upcoming city road reconstruction project."

Green added that prior to work beginning, residents within the scope of these projects will receive a notice from Perna Finnigan with the actual start date. New Jersey American Water values the safety of its workers and advises drivers and pedestrians to take caution in the vicinity of work sites.

This investment will continue to improve water service reliability and increase water flows for household consumption and fire protection in this community. This improvement is part of New Jersey American Water's multimillion-dollar program to accelerate the renewal of water infrastructure that is reaching the end of its useful life in more than 100 communities across the state.
